JUDY GOODSPEED grew up and still lives on a farm near Wetumka, Oklahoma. She was a junior high school teacher and coach for thirty years. After retiring, she began to write. In 1996 her first article was published in Outdoor Oklahoma. She would continue to have articles published in Good Old Days, Country, The Ketchpen, and Rodeo News, as well as numerous articles in local newspapers, including the Holdenville Tribune, The Hughes County Times, and The Wewoka Times. In 2005 her first children’s picture book was published. Since then, publications include children’s picture books, non-fiction books, and fiction novels.
